As large projects are carried out with many developers, it is very important to agree on conventions for the code. For example, there have long been code standards in the PHP world, including the well-known PSR standards. There are also numerous other standards for the Zend Framework, TYPO3 etc. However, experience has shown that the individual needs of developers often deviate from these standards.
